The National Police Motor Traffic Transport Unit (MTTU) has expressed gratitude to the general public, especially motorists, for their co-operation and sacrifices during the funeral and burial of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
A press release issued in Accra yesterday and signed by ACP Angwubutoge Awuni, the MTTU commanding officer, stated that the National MTTU Command appreciates the support and discipline exhibited by majority of Ghanaians during the occasion in the midst of road closures and area restrictions.
It stated that there was no major accident during the event, adding that the unit hoped similar co-operation and discipline would be maintained to enhance road safety and orderliness on the roads.
