Police in the Eastern Region have said that no arrest has been made in connection with the disappearance of some seven taxi drivers at Somanya in the Eastern region.
The bodies of two out of the seven missing drivers have been found.
Though security patrol had intensified in the area, the police said efforts to apprehend the culprits have proved futile.
Speaking to Citi News, Public Relations officer of the Eastern regional Police Command ASP Yaw Nketiah Yeboah said they were relying on the public to assist them in the search.
He said: The case is still under investigation so we appeal to the general public to furnish us with any relevant information at Koforidua, Somanya or the Police Headquarters because no one has been arrested in connection with the murders.
He further mentioned, All the hotspots and other communities in the regions are being patrolled because there have been rumors of recent robberies in those spots not only in Somanya but also all the districts.
