A privately owned light bodied single engine aircraft (Beechcraft, B-36) with registration number F � GELY registered in France, has been involved in a ground accident at the Kotoka International Airport at about 1415 hours on Thursday.
A joint statement by the Ghana Airports Company Limited and Ghana Civil Aviation Authority on the incident said, �the aircraft was significantly damaged and the technician involved in the accident has been treated and discharged by the Airport Clinic.�
The statement said an investigation into the accident has commenced in earnest, but failed to give details of the accident.
