Reports indicate that the Ghana Armed Forces will meet with leaders of the Ghana Journalist Association to mend the perceived broken relationship between the two.
This follows calls from the Defense Minister, Mark Woyongo that the Ghana Armed Forces should work on strengthening its relationship with the media after some officers assaulted a journalist at the Independence day celebrations.
A source at the Armed Forces indicated to Citi News that the Chief of Defense Staff will chair the meeting which has been scheduled for next week.
