The Head of Public Affairs at the Tema Port, Paul Ansah Asare, says the Port expects to handle about one million tonnes of cargo next year.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Asare said the port is also expecting the arrival of two additional cranes which will help improve its cargo and container handling operations to step up productivity.
Mr Ansah also spoke of plans to expand the Tema Port to meet international standards.
