A popular fetish priest, Great Torgbui Shetor of the Great Torgbui Shetor Spiritual Centre in Kokorantumi in the Eastern Region has reacted angrily to reports in the media that he was in the grips of the police for murder.

His anger was as a result of media reports that came last week that he was apprehended by the police for using his victims for rituals.

“I work with dwarfs and they hate blood, I cannot kill my fellow human being. I can’t do that”

“…therefore to the journalists who reported negatively about me they should come again and correct what they said about me, because the gods are very angry” the visibly angry fetish priest added.

What seemed to be done in secret is now a common thing with big billboards and signposts, advertising activities of spiritualists around town and outskirts of cities.

Not only do these fetish priests stick to signposts as a means of advertising themselves but it appears that they are equally abreast of the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) technique employed by corporate Ghana in their ventures.

Many of these spiritualists have facebook, twitter, whatsapp accounts and other social media outlets accounts to market their services.

In a strong-worded statement, copied to Today, Torgbui Shetor said for the past 20 years, he has been helping a lot of people including expatriates who are in dire need of money and protection, among other services.

He revealed that he had travelled across Europe, North and South America anytime his services were needed.

The spiritualist claimed that he helped many people, but in no circumstance had he ever used them for rituals or defraud them.

He said: “there are a lot that I do just to help and protect you get what you want, after that I give you things to use for some days. “…people come to me and I give them something to use so that money can stay in their hands” he stated.

Journalists who are on the path of “destruction” he cautioned them to desist from that act since according to him it will shorten their lives.

“I help society, so don’t destroy me because my gods are very angry and it hurts a lot”, he stressed.

He however intimated that as a powerful spiritualist nobody can destroy him.
