Information available to peacefmonline.com indicates that the board chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Mr Tony Oteng Gyasi has resigned from his position.
According to Kwami Sefa Kayi, host of PEACE FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', who hinted this during his programme on Friday, the ECG chairman tendered in his resignation letter this week.
Reasons for his resignation is unknown.
Meanwhile, the President, John Dramani Mahama is yet to respond to his letter.
Tony Oteng Gyasi was appointed board chairman exactly a year ago in September 2013.
