The outgoing Ashanti Regional Police Commander, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, has thanked the chiefs and people of the region for their support for him during his stay in the region.
According to him, the unflinching support he enjoyed both from the chiefs and the people as well as his colleague officers led them to make major gains, hence the same support should be demonstrated toward his replacement, COP Ken Yeboah.

Other prominent transfers include COP Rose Atinga Bio, Director General Research and Planning, who is now Director General Technical. Director General of Services COP James Oppong-Boamah becomes Director General, Administration; COP Frank Adu Poku – Director General, Technical, is now Director General, Services; COP George Akuffo Dampare, Commandant, Ghana Police Command and Staff College, also assumes a new role as Director-General, ICT.

Also, all the achievements would not have been possible without the support of all the other officers. I was just directing affairs but those who actually did the work are the officers, and, so, I will like to thank them very much. The media also played a key role in the fight against crime in the region, and, so, I also congratulate them in that respect. The Police administration has assigned another regional commander, Ken Yeboah, who is capable of fighting crime in the society, to the region. I can assure you that he knows his job and will sustain the gains we have made in the region and improve on them. I want you to give him all the support you gave to me.”

It is only a fake police officer like Kofi Boakye who defined electoral crime in the Ashanti region as FAKE and had left the electoral malpractice to still stand only by his declaration that the matter is FAKE!
kofi B, you are excellent policer officer merit the IGP but for your political affiliation with the NDC Well i cant wish you well but will advise you that, now you have the capacity to be IGP in academics, training, functions and age on ya side, avoid either party, work as a full professional foe before you reach the age of 60, i can forsee a government where competence will be the mark and not political affilites there everyone or majority will call for you as IGP. left alone, i will recommend you bcx in honesty, you a man on the ground, excellent but remember when the ppl are against the regime, dont support the regime the likes of otumfuor etc are now not excellently love by the people bcx of true or imagination affiliation with some parties. rejecting otumfuos backed member to the council of state is like a COUP to the kingdom and a clear sign that, people are not indeed adoring the kingdom much had it be in the olden days, once otumfuo backs a candidate, no election but acclamation but look, people defile all odds to contest and won, a clear sign of disrespect, not liking or less love to the kingdom personally , kofi you have done a great job and wish depolitised yaself and look forward to the majority of Ghanaians calling you for the IGP position now its clear apiatu has about 6 months to reach retirement age Thank you COP , thanks the backing of otumfuo and the kingdom, thanks the officers and media and kofi, wish you the best will be happy to hear in the coming days, you be Ghana IGP where indeed real professionalism will be given to the police service Thank you KOFI
