Breast cancer is a leading cause of death and the most common cause of hospital admissions among Ghanaian women.
Research shows that about 60 percent of Ghanaian women delay seeking medical attention for breast disease symptoms.
Despite & Special Group of Companies health fair and blood donation is currently ongoing at the Elwak Sports Stadium.
The Health Fair includes health screening activities such as blood donation, breast screening, eye test, dental and prostrate care among other health checks for the general public.
Dr. Beatrice Wiafe Addai and her team of workers from the Breast Care International (BCI), a non-governmental organization (NGO) aimed at reducing the increasing mortality rate of breast cancer are among the health orgnizations at the Elwak Stadium to help save lives.
