Head Pastor of Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC), Pastor Ransford Obeng, has condemned doom prophecies urging Ghanaians to trust only in God in 2019 and reject doom prophecies by pastors.

He was of the view that doom prophecies have the tendency of causing fear and panic among the populace. In this regard, he stressed the need for the people to always trust in the word of God in order to make it in life.

“Only God, who created all things, including me and you, knows the future and nobody else so you should get this in mind. I will therefore urge everybody to close their eyes and ears to doom prophecies and rather trust in God only. You can rely on God only by focusing on his word, which is in the holy Bible, and you will make it in life this year,” he stressed.

Pastor Ransford Obeng expressed gross worry about the fear and panic usually caused by doom prophecies.

He said he doesn’t believe in prophecies that are mainly about disaster, untimely deaths and other bad things.

The CCC head pastor therefore advised the citizenry to uphold hard work and depend solely on God to succeed.
