Regional Director of the Greater Accra National Disaster Management Organization [NADMO], Mr Evans Anakwa says persons living in flood prone areas must with immediate effect relocate.
He explained that, the country will be expecting thunderstorms and heavy rains as the raining season approaches.
His warning comes after a heavy downpour Sunday night in some parts of the country killing at least two and destroying properties.
Mr Evans Anakwa described the death as “unfortunate” in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
“Be at a safer place when it’s raining and relocate if you live in a flooding area,” he advised.
