Nana Kwadwo Gyasi, Chief Executive Officer of K. Gyasi Company Limited is set to be honoured with a doctorate degree award by Ternopil National Economic University in Ukraine on July 13, 2019 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ashanti regional capital.

The Ternopil National Economic University will confer upon Nana Kwadwo Gyasi an honorary doctorate degree for his immense contribution towards the development of Ghana.

In a citation presented to him at the Tetelestai Church of Pentecost, Suame branch in Kumasi recently by the University’s research team, thus, Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce and Administration (BORGCA) in collaboration with the Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute (COGAI) headed by Mr Isaac Rocks, communications strategist, has it that, “the key to happiness is having a dream fulfilled through determination, endurance, perseverance, persistence and being committed to its objectives”.

According to Mr Rockson, Nana K. Gyasi’s honorary award is in recognition of his outstanding achievements, enormous dedication to humanitarian services, and tireless efforts in ensuring the socio-economic well-being of individuals in the community and vital contribution to Ghana’s development at large.

His accomplishments in Ghana and beyond after all his assessment have earned him this honour.

Rockson pointed out that "We want Parliament to institute laws to regulate activities of our churches. Most of them especially the charismatic ones are trading rather than propagating the gospel. Church history shows that churches contributed immensely to the socioeconomic development of our country, but most of these one man churches are operating for their personal interests."

"We want the established churches to partner us for this campaign. Some of the churches have no proper structures, some of the prophets exploits their members and it is very worrying. My advice to Christians is that they should esteem holiness; that is the only way they can get closer to God. When you are holy, you only have to pray and God will answer, you don't need any false prophet to deceive you," he added.

Nana K Gyasi expressed thanks to the high learning institutions and organizers for the recognition saying, "This goes to show that God rewards honesty, truthfulness and hard work. I was doing this alone until l employed some hands. I encourage my workers to be diligent because it pays."

He advised the youth to practice good Christianity and shun drug abuse.

‘TERNOPIL NATIONAL ECONOMIC UNIVERSITY’ congratulates you on this noble achievement to be bestowed on you. You are a worthy model entrepreneur, a staunch philanthropist and a beacon of hope to the next generation in Ghana, Africa and beyond,' the citation read.
