What's going on here? Please show us some of the other dams. Thanks. Parliament should legislate the minimum standard required to qualify as a dam so the ministry/contractors work towards that. The ministry must also do proper due diligence on the contractors to ascertain their capacity to execute the contract before awarding same. I'll suggest the ministry work in close consultation with the Ghana Institution of Engineers for advice. Let us do these projects according to standards. This is far far below standard, we can do better. If you ask for my honest opinion, I will shut that dam down until I see proper safety measures in place. What I see is a serious health and safety hazard.
Guys What is a Dam Wikipedia. A dam is a barrier that stops or restricts the flow of water or underground streams. Reservoirs created by dams not only suppress floods but also provide water for activities such as irrigation, human consumption, industrial use, aquaculture, and navigability. I believe this settles it.
Yes i dont think what we are witnessing in some of the communities in the northern region are "DAM'S", nut i also understand how our people mean when they talk of Dams, i don't think a village of 100 homes or less will mean Dam as we can defined DAM same as the "!V!F" every well minded person would understand saying one village one factory wont mean the government must put a factory in every village. The minister said they understood the type of DAM when the farmers told them during campaign however the opposition is trying very hard to confuse the public of this fact, i dont think it will be reasonable for Mohammed to think the president promised building a real Dam in every village and town even the farmers will laugh at him, THose who deserve dam should get a dam likewise.
Kofi Agbaglaj or what ever your name is, Please define Dam for me and see what was promised fit. You are sooo stoou.pi.d that the minister has admitted it is not worth it and you are defending it.
Do you want to see Akonsombo dam before you believed. if NDC were to have this in place, will the tress that were plant during hamathan would have been survived.
When ndc was in power it thought it wise to construct such a dugout as you want us to believe but you are quick to blame and criticize. At least our brothers and sisters in that part of our country will use the water the dugouts will store for their plants and animals. Think ndc think. It may not be huge but it will benefit the people in the area. At least we are identifying the critical issues of development. Stop the negative propaganda, it will not help anybody
They have just gone to separate or divide an existing pond into two and called it a dam. Look at the picture very well. What a shame. Politics in Ghana is becoming very very deceptive.
So what the opposition said was true, this is a complete dugout and not dam.
yes because they see us as sto.up.id
What an interesting country.
