The Ghana Police Service has indicated that the DNA test carried out on the human parts found on a property previously occupied by the suspected kidnapper have been confirmed to be that of the four girls who went missing in Takoradi.
The Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh at a press conference Monday evening said the girls were victims of a serial kidnapping and murdering syndicate.
According to him, they have already communicated the findings to the families and have further expressed their condolences.
"A few minutes ago, officers of the Ghana Police service informed 4 families in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana that DNA test conducted on some human remains discovered into the course of police investigations into the disappearance 4 missing girls have turned positive, as the remains of the girls. The Ghana Police service has with regret informed the families that the remains of Ruth Abakah, Priscilla Kuranchie, Ruth Love Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum” he stated.
“Investigations now establish that the girls were victims of a serial kidnapping and murdering syndicate that operated in the Takoradi area. While for various reasons we were unsuccessful in obtaining and action on accurate actionable intelligence in good time to enable us rescue the girls, we believe that the arrest of the culprits has effectively thwarted the ability of this syndicate to have continued with further kidnappings and murders.” the acting IGP further added.

So what is nana addo waiting for. Bryan acheampong, the interior minister, the gender minister and the CID BOSS, tiwa addo Danquah should be fired immediately. All of these persons told Ghanaians the girls are found and very soon they would be brought back. It is therefore unconscionable that the IGP will now come and tell us their investigation reveal that the girls are dead. If true, then condolences to the bereaved family. Fuuuulish government!!! Able to rescue canadians but for Ghanaians, they are allowed to die.
