THERE WERE chaotic scenes at the Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI), which reportedly resulted in injuries and destruction to several properties on Sunday evening.
A certain housemaster of the school had insisted that the students should wear the prescribed uniform of the school during prep hours and that sparked anger among the students.
The angry students, according to reports, did not spare anything on sight, as they caused massive destruction to several properties on the hitherto peaceful campus.
The windscreen of vehicles were smashed, air conditioners and several other properties were also destroyed by the rampaging students.
At a point, the angry students allegedly turned their anger at their housemasters, as they pelted them with stones, injuring one housemaster in the process.
Sensing danger, the housemasters were said to have run to save their lives.
Police personnel were quickly called in to prevent further destruction in the school and their presence helped to calm nerves.
According to reports, the police managed to apprehend 10 of the rampaging students, who were said to have played leading roles in the attacks.
The Manhyia Divisional Police Commander, ACP Kwaku Buah, said the students targeted dormitories, housemasters’ bungalows and other infrastructure in the school.
According to the police officer, the housemaster who sustained head injuries was issued a medical form for treatment, adding that the police were still investigating the case.

How sad!! What on earth could have triggered such anger to the extent of destroying school property? Will the students return to the same school? Where is the fear of God these days? Surely, the master's provocation shouldn't have caused so much damage and injuries? May God help us. These young people will grow to become fathers one day. Thank God no life was lost.
FALSE news on students you should have also listened to the students opinion, before drawing a conclusion '
