Former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon and the founder of “The Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Group”, Jack Ma arrived in Ghana on Friday, November 15, 2019, and paid separate courtesy calls on the President at Jubilee House.

Popular Chinese actor Jet Li was also not left out in the visit.

They were, however, billed to speak at the maiden edition of the Africa Netpreneurship Summit, which was held at the Accra International Conference, on Saturday.

The news of their arrival, particularly with regards to renowned actor Jet Li travelled faster than imagined.

Some Ghanaians in reaction to his arrival in the country together with the business tycoon and others took to their various social media pages to express their thoughts.

Meanwhile, some questions relating to why and how these personalities made the decision to visit the country have been answered by presidential staffer, Gabby Otchere-Darko on his Twitter page.

He posted; “In China last year, President Akufo-Addo extended an invitation to Jack Ma to visit and invest in Ghana. This week that invitation was honoured and his comments about Ghana are most encouraging.”

Below are some Twitter reactions;

I told my son #JetLi was in Ghana last week with the president @NAkufoAddo and the question he asked was...

Son: Did he beat the president @NAkufoAddo ?
Me: He(JetLi) wasn't here to fight.
