President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed that Government undertakes further engagements with stakeholders on the upcoming referendum.

The purpose of the engagement is to seek to clear up misconceptions about the purpose of the referendum and build concensus on the way forward.

This round of engagements shall involve the Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, Senior Minister Hon. Yaw Osafo Marfo and other Government Officials.

Stakeholders such as Religious, traditional bodies, Civil Society Organizations, Journalists, among others, are expected to be engaged from Wednesday November 20, 2019.

The President, DGN Online understands, considers the engagements important to engendering a common understanding of the issues related to the upcoming referendum.
