President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has asked all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives [MMDCEs] to include persons with disabilities in their management.
He told parliament during his fourth State of the Nation Address that his government will not discriminate against persons living with disability.
“As part of government’s disability policy, all MMDCEs must have representation from persons with disabilities in order for them to contribute at the local level of governance,” the President said.
