Over 50 women and children who were travelling in a Kia Truck to the Northern Region might be quarantined.
The women who were head porters popularly known in Ghana as kayayei decided to go to their hometown because there was a lockdown in Accra.
In an interview with UTV’s Agya Kwabena, one of them said they sleep on the streets and if they don’t go back home, they will be stranded.
Dr Anthony Nsia-Asare, a Presidential advisor on health, speaking on this during a one-on-one with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', Tuesday said: “they need to be quarantined and tested…”
