The National Youth Authority as part of its ‘COVID-19 Youth Campaign‘ has donated assorted essential medical equipment to the Ministry of Health in support of Ghana’s efforts at combating the Coronavirus pandemic.
The CEO of the National Youth Authority, Mr Sylvester Tetteh was joined by Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah who is the Board Chairperson of NYA, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) Board member and National Youth Organizer of NPP, Nelson Owusu Ansah, Deputy CEO of NYA and some Directors of the National Youth Authority in presenting the essential items to the Ministry of Health.
The items which is worth 700,000ghc, include; 200,000 Gloves, 2000 Cardinal Health PPEs, 1000 Re-useable PPEs, 400 Googles, 5000 Hand Sanitizers and many other essential items. The Minister together with his team and management were grateful to the National Youth Authority for the timely support.
The National Youth Authority recently launched the ‘COVID-19 Youth Campaign’. The authority is seeking to rally the Youth through this campaign in mobilizing the needed support for the government’s fight against the Corona Virus pandemic.
