These same people will come here to complain if he lifts the ban just as they did when he lifted the lock down. Everything we go complain. Mr. President, you can close the border for years and that is not the solution for fightingthe COVID 19 out break in Ghana. Remember that ghanaians who went for meetings abroad, who went for visits and those residing outside the country wants to come back home. Ghana is thier country. As International Flights are gradually resuming this early month, what is the pragmatic measures and plans from the Aviation Minister. Kotoka International Airports and other Airports have been sprayed, keeping the airports clean. Other Aviation authorities around the world have started putting measures aorund the various airports. The Heathrow Boss has introduced social distance and temperature checking for air passengers. Passengers whose body temperature is above 38 will be refusing for travelle. Germanys Frankfurt Airport is putting measures of physical distancing and temperature checking and issuing immune system pass for passengers. The idea of closing the borders is just temporary, your ghanaians wants to come home. So ask your Aviation Minister to present his plans and measures for the airports as other countries have done.Thank You
Mr president come again!!! Is that your strategy? It’s not feasible ,then you’ll have to close the borders for years not weeks or months.what must inform your decision should be your understanding of the nature of the virus, the effect on those that contract it,the capacity of your hospitals to deal with it, and of course the effect on the economy.you might not open your borders to tourists or the likes but you can’t deny nationals and people with resident permit the right to enter their own country or country of residence.look at the western world where the virus has hit very hard, they’ve closed their borders but they all have exempted their nationals and those with resident permit.why ? Because that’s their home and in times of crisis everybody wants to be home.it doesn’t matter whether their sick or well. Mr president how many planes have you allowed into Ghana since you closed the borders? Why did you allow them in? They came for their nationals right ? Did they test them to ascertain they were negative before they were allowed to go back to their country? And have you thought of emulating them by bringing your own nationals too back home from wherever they are? Indeed Ghana beyond aid.look at South Africa, they have more severe situation but is their airport closed?don't compare yourself with do nothing or do little people.learn from the advanced nations,I bet you they’re thinking right!!! Mr president open the borders!!!
THE GRADUAL RISE OF THE RATE OF DEATH IN NIGERIA IS AN INDICATION OF HIGH RATE OF COVID-19 CASES IN THAT COUNTRY WHICH MIGHT NOT BE ACCURATE TO THE REPORTED CONFIRMED CASES. THERE IS A HIGH RATE OF DEATH WHEN THE NUMBER OF TESTED CASES IS NOT EXTENDED ENOUGH TO MATCH THE NUMBER OF DEATH RECORDED FOR THAT REGION . THE CONDITION IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS A REMARKABLE THREAT TO THE EFFORT IN GHNANA TO FIGHT THE PANDEMIC. TO CURB THE THREAT IT IS IMPORTANT FOR GHANA TO KEEP ITS BOARDERS CLOSED FOR A RELATIVELY LONG TIME.
