A Senior Law Lecturer and anti-gay rights convener, Moses Foh-Amoaning says it is surprising for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to drop Essikado/Ketan Constituency MP in the Western Region, Joe Ghartey from his current government.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo did not reappoint Joe Ghartey, Minister for Railways Development to serve in his second government despite his sterling performance at the post in his first term.
Mr. Ghartey was replaced by former Energy Minister, John Peter Amewu, but many including lawyer Moses Foh-Amoaning have maintained that he shouldn’t have been dropped.
“Joe has done well enough…” he said in an interview with Paul Adom Otchere.
Adding that, “I don’t know whether his earlier comment [presidential ambition] caused him.”
