Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has backed Vice-President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s call for traditional leaders to help the government guard the surroundings.
He described the call as “awesome” after urging all to join hands in the government’s quest to protect our environs.
“The call by his Excellency the Vice president for an active collaboration by our Traditional leaders with the government on environmental responsibility is awesome,” he tweeted
Adding that, “Our religious leaders must be part of the triploid; we must preach environmental responsibility in our churches and mosques.”
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia urged chiefs and different conventional officers to finish the federal government’s efforts to guard the surroundings.
Talking at this 12 months version of the Akyem Abuakwa Chiefs and Folks’ Ohum Competition in Kyebi within the Japanese Province on Saturday Dr Bawumia stated it’s the obligation of the present era to uphold and defend the traditional custom of maintaining the surroundings for generations but to be born.
