Professor Kofi Agyekum has advised workers in the country to check their attitude at work.
Speaking to Nana Yaw Kesseh on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, the Head of Linguistics of the University of Ghana, Professor Kofi Agyekum, popularly referred to as Opanyin Agyekum, asked workers to be diligent.
He expressed disgust at the way and manner some workers wander around at their workplaces, hence urging them to be serious with work.
"The attitude of some of us towards work is not encouraging. It doesn't please God. Sometimes, you will go to an office and find the female workers doing makeup and frolicking and the guys also fidgeting with their beard, you ask yourself did these people come to work or not? So, as we hope for government to make our living conditions better, we should also resolve to serve efficiently," he said.
