Managing Director of State Housing Company (SHC), Kwabena Ampofo Appiah has disclosed how he made his firm more profitable.
Speaking in a one-on-one interview on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Mr Appiah popularly known as Virus said "Discipline is key"
"It's more about discipline and running the State agency as if it's your own or as if you're in the private sector. That helps in cutting down waste and increasing profitability," he added.
Meanwhile, the ruling government has acquired 200 acres of land at Pokuase, a suburb of Accra for the construction of more affordable housing.
According to the SHC Managing Director, "As part of government's affordable housing project, 200 acres have been acquired in Pokuase...and this is not rhetoric"
