The Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement of Ghana has cautioned the Ghana Armed Forces at Bawku to refrain from any political and tribal conflict in order for peace to reign.
Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM GH) is a Civil Society Organization that anchors proper democratic principles, protects Ghana’s democracy and the rule of law, fights corruption, and ensures the peace and security of our country.
Speaking at the press conference, the Executive Secretary for Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement of Ghana, Emmanuel Abdul-Salam Azubila, said these fights among the Kusasi’s and the Mamprusi’s in Bawku is caused by the Ghana Armed Forces, which is gradually creating tension in the region knowing elections are also near.
However, cautioning the Ghana Armed Forces to refrain from the political and tribal conflict in Bawku in order to end the embarrassment to the institution.
He further urged the government to deploy New Armed forces to Bawku if possible to prevent any further conflicts.
