A thanksgiving service in honor of late President Mills is scheduled to come off on Sunday in the Central regional capital, Cape-Coast.
The ceremony is expected to be graced by Vice President, Paa Kwesi Ammisah Arthur together with other top government officials.
The service comes two days after the late President was laid to rest at the Asmdwee Park here in Accra.
The family of the late President had requested for a private thanksgiving service that would be held at the Wesley Methodist Church at the Chapel Square in Cape Coast.
In a related development the committee that planned the funeral of President Mills has expressed its appreciation to all Ghanaians for the immense participation and show of love during the three day funeral ceremony.
The burial ceremony on Friday had an estimated 50 thousand participants and the preceding two day ceremony for people to pay their last respects had thousands more.
