Right Reverend Albert Ofoe Wright, Tema Methodist Church Diocesan Counseling Coordinator, has cautioned pastors against inordinate jostling for positions within their churches.

Wait for God and do not undermine others for position, or else you will miss Gods grace, he stated.

Rt Rev Wright made the statement on Sunday when he addressed the 60th anniversary of the New Covenant Apostolic Church (NCAC) in Ghana at Sogakope.

He said internal wrangling and undermining others for position and the unnecessary schisms must stop and peace sought in the church.

Do not form churches for money, otherwise you will die early and what you think you are enjoying now, you will enjoy in sorrow, the Pastor warned.

Rt. Rev. Wright told church leaders not to see themselves as superhuman to be worshiped, but look up to Jesus, the only leader- unchangeable.

He commended the NCAP for its 60 year journey, which had 'twists and turns,' and asked members to work hard to support their leaders to grow the church further.

Members of the Church from its150 Assemblies across Ghana, as well as delegates from Togo, Gabon and France attended the anniversary, which coincided with the Christmas festivities.

Apostle Martin Agbemiabiase, NCAC Chairman, urged NCAC members to surrender their all and sacrifice for the church and Christ as done by the Founder and Leader, Apostle Diaba from the scratch in 1954 in Accra, with five members.

He recalled that the NCAC had suffered many breakaways and trials but remained strong.

Apostle Agbemabiase asked Ghanaians to eschew hatred, put away all bipartisan divisions to move the country ahead.

Two Pastors, Henry Ofoeda and David Coffie in charge of Akuse-Kpong and Madina Districts of the church respectively were ordained Apostles during the celebration.
