The Council for Afrika International, a London based think tank, has appealed to the government to adopt a comprehensive change agenda on the economy that would reflect the dreams of late President Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
This was contained in a statement signed by Mr. Koku Adomdza, Spokesperson for the council.
It said Dr Nkrumah was not only a talking shop but a deliverer of tangible outcome, an ardent vociferous opponent of Afrophobia and advocate of Africas political, economic, social, cultural and intellectual advancement.
The statement said Dr Nkrumah stood for total economic development and holistic emancipation of the continent as equal global citizens with guaranteed fundamental rights.
It said the centenary anniversary would therefore be meaningless unless it is linked to a totally renewed dedication to a change program for socio-economic justice.
The Council for Afrika International acknowledges the Centenary Birthday Anniversary of the Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah with a request for the African Union, United Nations, the G22, the European Union and leaders of African countries to declare a state of emergency to redeem the African nations from imminent extinction from economic underdevelopment and global marginalisation, the statement said.
