The Beposo Toll booth which was destroyed following an accident by an articulated truck driver has been replaced with a temporary one.
Ghana News Agency (GNA) investigations at Beposo has showed that a metal container booth has been provided by the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) to ease the stress of collectors who work without shade after the accident.
On February 14, an articulated truck with registration number GR 230 J driving at top speed, smashed into the concrete booth that was being manned by two persons.
The driver of the articulated truck who is yet to be identified yet, died on the spot, while one of the booth collectors, Thomas Opoku, also died on the spot.
A second collector, Frederick Korankye, who sustained serious injuries is still on admission at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority Clinic.
