ABU ISSA Monnie, News Editor at Peace Fm, an Accra-based radio station and News Anchor at TV3, was adjudged the Best Radio Editor of the Year at the just-ended Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards held in Accra.
The editor, as part of activities to celebrate his award, dedicated it to Allah at the Abossey Okai Central Mosque where he thanked Him for the opportunity and called for more blessings and guidance in his life.
He was met by National Chief Imam, Sheik Usman Sharubutu and other Muslim brothers and sisters at the Abossey Okai Mosque.
He expressed gratitude to all Muslims for the support and honor done him.
Sheik Sharubutu commended him for working hard to earn such a high award and called on Muslim youths to emulate Issa Monnie�s example and shy away from negative influences in society.
�Good work always pays, so I am urging you all to invest your time judiciously into something that pays at the end of the day,� he added.
He called for Allah to continue to shower His blessings, protection on all Muslims engaged in different kinds of endeavours both in Ghana and abroad adding that there are better days ahead.
