Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, has set up a three member committee to investigate public complaints about the operations of his Lands Secretariat.
The Bantamahene, Baffour Asare Owusu Amankwatia V, is the Chairman. The term of reference of the committee is to address concerns about the secretariat’s handling of land acquisition, mortgages, leasing, assignment and transfers.
A press release signed by Mr G.B. Osei-Antwi, Media Relations Manager of the Manhyia Palace, invited all individuals and institutions, unhappy with any aspect of the operations of the secretariat to appear before the committee.
It would receive both written and oral complaints beginning from Monday, October 3, during working hours, it added.
