Some parts of the country will be left in darkness following the announcement by the Sunon Asogli Power Plant of its two day maintenance exercise.
The Asogli Power Plant has announced that it will cut 170 Mega Watts of power from its supplies to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) meaning supply will be cut to some parts of the country.
Speaking to Citi News, the Director of Operations at the ECG Tetteh Okine said the ECG will work to ensure the impact on Ghanaians is minimal.
He stated that �I cannot say exactly which parts of the country will be affected but you know we already have a load shedding system in place so we will try and manage the situation.�
Meanwhile the Public Relations Officer of Sunon Asogli, Wendy Broughton has assured that power supply will be restored on Friday.
