Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, has expressed Government's readiness to partner any investor who would assist the country to build a refinery to add value to gold.

“It is unfortunate that a country that was branded as Gold Coast by our colonial masters has not been able to brand Ghana's gold,” he said.

The Minister said this on Friday when Mr Jeeva Sagar, Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, called on him to discuss how the two countries could strengthen their bilateral relationship.

He stressed the need to build partnership to provide linkages that would move Ghana's development agenda forward.

Mr Sagar expressed his country’s commitment to support the human resource development of the country.

“As we put value on education, India will continue to support Ghana in capacity building,” he said.
