Members and the Acting President of Ga Traditional Council, Nii Dodoo Nsaki II, on Tuesday said the ban on noise making which precedes the Ga Homowo Festival would begin on May 12.
A statement issued to the GNA by the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Culture and the Ga Traditional Council said the ban would be lifted with Odadao ceremony on June 12.
It said the Homowo celebration itself would be ushered in by the Lante Djan We Homowo on August 2 and Ga Mashie Homowo would be celebrated on August 16.
