A robber made a quick run for the exit after a fish began singing, police in Minnesota said.
The incident occurred at Hooked on Fishing in Rochester, and the fish was a motion-activated singing toy.
The toy fish, which hangs near the door, sings "Take Me to the River," every time someone enters the store.
After the attempted robbery, the fish was found on the floor. Police said that the intruder knocked it to the floor when breaking the door to enter the shop.
However, the intruder left in a hurry, without stealing anything. Police said that it seems like the intruder was scared off by the singing fish.
Police launched an investigation to catch the robber, but so far, no arrests have been made.
