On the 24th of October, 2014, Christopher Boakye Amponsah, finally became a liberated man after spending seven years in prison.
Live on UTV's morning show, Adekye Nsroma, Chris, couldn't roll back his tears when he opened up about life behind bars.
Tough, as he is affectionately called, has decided to campaign for reform in the prisons in particular and the justice system in general.
The ex-convict is of the strong view that many people in prison either do not deserve to be there at all or should not be there for the long periods that they have been there.
He was emotionally moved to tears when he narrated the ordeal condemned inmates go through after receiving their sentence.
According to him, some unfortunate inmates housed in the condemned cells were sometimes made to sleep with dead bodies which were awaiting burial.
Aside this, he also stated that the prison warden referred to inmates as "fowls" instead of calling them humans.
