The Accra Circuit court hearing the case of some six individuals standing trial for allegedly aiding Nayele Ametefe transport cocaine to the UK has threatened to strikeout the case.
The judge fumed in court Wednesday after the state failed once again to open its case in the matter. This is the third time state prosecutors have failed to start their case against the accused in the case.
According to Starr News, the state prosecutors told the judge they are yet to complete their investigations in the matter.
Ms. Ametefe who was tried in a UK court for trafficking 12.5 Kilograms of cocaine to the country, has been handed an eight-year jail term.
