Angry Kejetia traders at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region have vowed to embark on a demonstration in Accra.
The traders say their decision is because the Regional Minster and Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) boss, Kojo Bonsu have failed to address their problems.
They intent to stage a massive demonstration in Accra close to the Flagstaff House to express their displeasure over the inhumane treatment they are being subjected to.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Kejetia Traders Association, Andrus Couffie, in an interview with Adom News said several petitions to get their problems resolved have always fallen on deaf ears.
They accused the KMA boss of refusing to register 40 percent of the traders as beneficiaries of the new stores as agreed.
Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Peter Anarfi - Mensah noted that the traders’ petition have been sent to the president, and assured that their grievances would be addressed.
