The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has disconnected the Ministries of Finance and Education from the national grid.
The Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) and State Agencies, including the Ghana News Agency (GNA), have also been disconnected in an exercise termed “Operation storm Ministries” by the ECG.
The exercise took place between Monday, July 4 and Tuesday 5, 2016.
The Finance Ministry, Kasapafmonline.com learnt, is indebted to the utility service provider to the tune of GH₵1,350,252.32 spanning a period of more than three years.
The Ministry of Education, this website is told is also owing GH₵1,852,415.16 while the Ghana News Agency is indebted to the ECG to the tune of about. GH₵45,000.
