Some Ghanaians on Twitter are outraged by a tweet by the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, in which he seems to be taking a dig at the President John Mahama. In his seemingly innocuous tweet, Mr. Benjamin wondered if the dry dusty harmattan air had been ushered in by an inauguration.
Ghanaians on social media say Mr. Benjamin was just trolling President Mahama for his many inaugurations of projects ahead of the December 7 elections.

See how them dey rush. Small joke too people dey condemn as if them dey understand diplomacy pass everybody. Unless them no hear, them go insult by heart. What's the big deal with this joke? Accra stinks ,and you should be rather more concerned about that. Leave the man and let him be.
John BEN is not a diplomat , his head like vulture.
what is wrong with what he asked? he did not mention the commissioner general's name so why are these toothless babies crying for their incompetent father. tho it is a joke but he asked the right question. this would be the last harmattan mr incompetent will have to commission, so its a wake up call to him to do so. u ple shd be happy ur father will have one one commissioning to do be4 going on political exile. fire on Mr Jon Benjamin.
Ah, is this a case of whom the cap fits?
In the said tweet the High Commissioner never mention the president name unless some people want to associate his tweet to the president. Why claim something for yourself if u know u are not bothered by that statement. Nobody can speak for Mahama so if he feel its meant for him he can speak for himself
Ghanaians have become too petty. Is this something that should generate unnecessary attacks ?We have serious issues confronting the country that we have to tackle.Sanitation in the capital is nothing to write home about. To be blunt, parts of the capital smells so bad, especially where trading is brisk.
This Jon kuraaaa Abaaa. who does he think he is? Does he even have time to do he diplomatic job. He's too much engulf in local issues and he;s losing the little respect left for diplomats. I can't wait for him to finish his term and go away from here. He shall celebrate his exit like Nana Addo's victory
President John Ford Mahama has commissioned the hamattan.....Hey hey hey. He was commissioning all kinds of projects both completed and uncompleted throughout the country up until the elections... Negative politics.
you people are too serious of everything this man says. If you see this man as one of you, it will help you rather than anger all the time ok
Na wetin dey concern am? Allow ghanaman to play in our own politiks.
