Eight persons are feared dead in a bloody accident that occurred on the Tema Motorway near the Action Chapel, Wednesday.
A tipper truck carrying sand rammed into a 207 Benz passenger vehicle in an attempt to overtake it.
Luck eluded the passengers when another tipper truck traveling from the opposite direction, crashed and squeezed the vehicle, leaving some of the occupants sustaining severe injuries, while a host of almost lifeless bodies were trapped in the vehicle.
Rescuers succeeded in removing the trapped passengers with the survivors rushed them to the hospital.

My impression about we Ghanaians the way we drive is appalling. Until we change our attitude on the roads we will always have these carnage on the roads. I have travelled extensively in most of the African countries and Ghana is one of the worst drivers on the roads. I was in Namibia recently and the way they drive, you will like them. I am not sure whether police are also NOT doing enough to bring sanity on our roads. If they are STILL taking monies put inside driving licenses for inspection. We need a proactive approach to bring down accident cases on our roads.
Why Peace FM, are only interested in the death of Ghanaians or what. No death was recorded in this accident. The other day you reported that some cadets have died in the Volta region which turned out to be false. Can't your lazy reporters try to give us true reports instead of always rushing to commit fear and panic in the country.
