C-TRUST Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization has donated some items to two schools in the Eastern part of Ghana.
The items included educational materials like text books, stationary, school bags, shoes and toiletries to less privileged schools in the Eastern Region.
C-TRUST Foundation has the objective of empowering women in acquiring vocational and apprenticeship skills and also reaching out to less privileged schools.
The Founder of C-TRUST Foundation, Cynthia Kumah who was speaking during the donation said the Foundation has supported women and schools in the past and that the recent donation is in line with their commitment and support agenda.
“Aside from donating we had the opportunity to talk to the children about the dangers of indulging in premarital sex at their age and the effect it will have on them, thus early childbirth among others,” she said.
According to her C-TRUST foundation is hoping to reach out to most of the deprived schools across the country and are calling on to donors to help the Foundation achieve this dream.
