Son of the president Yusuf Buhari is to be airlifted to Germany for further treatment following his head injury, Sahara Reporters reports.
Yusuf had suffered a head injury and a broken limb after he was involved in a motorcycle crash on December 26, 2017.
Reports had long since claimed he would be transferred to Germany, but Yusuf had undergone surgery in Nigeria instead, at Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja.
In the Sahara Reporters report, Yusuf is said to be airlifted to Germany Wednesday night for further medical treatment.
He will reportedly be transferred to the St. Josefs Hospital in Wiesbaden, and will be accompanied by his mother, the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, the daughter of the President, Halima Buhari-Sheriff, the personal physician to the first lady, Kamal Mohammed, and three other aides.
