A Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana, Justice Jones Dotse should be made the next Chief Justice after the retirement of Justice Sophia Akuffo later this year, Professor Kwaku Asare, a US-based Ghanaian Professor, has said.

We know the history so is either Fanties or westerners is next no ewe!
Over Akuffo Addo's dead body. It will never happen. He is an ayigbe man. His integrity is too good for that job under Akuffo Addo. They have already penned some akyem mafia down for that post. Dotse can only pray for God's will to happen. Every Ghanaian knows Justice Dotse. During the election petition he showed maturity in his judgments. He knows the job. "Yehowa, we Ghanaian pray you to appoint the right people into leadership. We are dying because of leadership crises. Help us oh Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
I worked with him on the Justice For All Program, when it first started. The man has integrity, and understands the law. I will be very happy if he is made the next Chief Justice. It will be good for Ghana.
I believe, the prez will consider Dotse and all possible options and choose the best.
YES, i have called for this thing long time ago. once there is no akufo now as senior at the suprem court, i think gabby or bediatuo wont be elevated to the supreme court to be CJ. whose time is it, is DOTSE time. the man is really a great asset, unbias like atuguba to NDC or akufo to NPP, he is indeed a great man and i cant wait enough to see him as CJ
