Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo has advised young girls to desist from offering their bodies to old men in exchange for iPhones.
"Girls, don't give yourself to some dirty old man for an iPhone or for any type of phone. It is a tool, that's all, one day you'll own [one]. You'll be able to buy one if you are patient and you do not throw away your virtue," she admonished.
She was speaking at the Chief Justice's Mentoring Programme for students initiated to expose pupils to the functions of the judiciary and instil in them virtues of patriotism and selflessness.

She said the technology young people see today was not around yesterday and may not be around tomorrow but the values of honesty, respect, hard work, self-discipline, integrity and service will always be there and will continue to serve mankind.
She therefore, urged them to be committed to the country's peace, stability, environmental integrity, sanitation, and every aspect of the national existence.

Madam CJ you can advice them but don't insult those men over there. there are old ladies like you who are dating young marriage men, because of their money are they also dirty? If you are an elder of a society you must know how to talk, the fact that he is old does not men he is dirty. what about women who want to have children like what you did but they not ready to marry the man they have child with are they also dirty? Men don't give yourselves to dirty women who want a child but they don't want to marry.
It's sad. Someone of her standing should not denigrate elderly men in front of young girls. She could have made her point alright by using a language worthy of emulation by the young girls.
The CJ is on point, but when you are advising youth of which they were shs n jss students you shouldn't only use old men but tell them not to give their bodies to men in general.. Let's be true to ourselves today most shs or jss students are in the same class or little above their girl/boy friends, so what is the person they are given their bodies to is not a old man but a youth(young fresh energetic man but not old man) as she said.. Tell them straight but don't say dirty old men, now the girl sees her boyfriend to be a young man and in the same class since the boyfriend is not dirty old man should she continue... Hhhmmmm
She is defending her husband who is very old from young beautiful girls
Is that good language expected from a CJ? Dirty old men? If I say dirty old women wouldn't she be saying I disrespect women? After all Cougars are destroying the virtues of young university and secondary school boys.
@ Yaw, even if she has done a mistake, that is the reason why she is advising the youth ok. Thank God you were not born out of wedlock.
If so, then she’s probably learnt from her experiences and therefore giving advice.
Hahahaha. Nice one
Madam CJ, please stop destroying the market for the male parliamentarians and politicians in GH.
You’re NOT the right person to offer this advice!!! You’ve had children out of wedlock. What was your motivation then? Phones too?
