A 25-YEAR-OLD man, Emmanuel Adjei has been sentenced to 10 years in prison by a Bekwai circuit court after 55 wrappers of cannabis concealed in a black polythene bag were found on him at Aputuogya, a community in the Bosomtwi District of the Ashanti Region.

The convict, who is an electrical welder’s apprentice, was guilty of possessing narcotic drugs without lawful authority, contrary to section 2(1) of the PNDC law 236/90.
