The President of Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, Professor Francis Allotey has challenged African leaders to use the numerous benefits space science and technology offer to agriculture on the continent.
Prof Allotey said it is time the continent recognises technology as a major force in solving the myriad of challenges confronting Africa.
He was speaking in Accra at the 5th African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development.
