Golden Tulip Accra has hosted some travel and tour operators to a luncheon aimed at acknowledging their contribution towards the success of the four-star facility.
The event, which was held at the Damba Terrace, brought together representatives of about 40 travel and tour companies and stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality industries.
Four companies were awarded very attractive prizes, primarily based on the number of room nights generated with the hotel for the year 2012 under review.
MBA Central Reservation for the second time running picked the first prize for booking a total of 981 room nights. They were presented with a certificate and a weekend stay for two at the hotel, while the second prize of a certificate and a night stay for two went to Safari Hospitality for having booked total room nights of 903.
