Bolgatanga, Bongo, Talensi NPP elect executives

New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates from the Bolgatanga, Bongo and Nabdam Constituencies in the Upper East Region at the weekend went to the polls to elect new executives to man the party in those areas.

In the Bolgatanga Constituency, Mr. Emmanuel Atinga, former National Director of Fire Service polled 447 votes to beat his contestants who got 200 votes. The First Vice Chairman went to Alhaji Alhassan Amalba with 437 votes to beat his opponent, Mr. James Anaba Akolgo who got 226.

Mr. Francis Atopong emerged as the second vice chairman with 410 votes to beat Mr. George Agongo who polled 233 votes. Richard Abanga got 429 to become the secretary, whilst his rival Mr. Richard Asaah Atampugbire got 196 votes.

Mr. Maxwell Adambire became the Assistant Secretary with 338 to beat Mr. Agombire Asiana with 311 votes. The Organizing Secretary went to Mr. Robert Agamolga with 295 votes to beat his opponent, Mr. Azumah Abire, who secured 178 votes.

Ms. Angelina Alangdi emerged as the Women's Organizer with 474 to beat her opponent Ms. Constance Apasinaba who got 129 votes. The Youth Organizer went to Mr. Aymbila Abubakari with 267 votes whilst his opponent Mr. Aeron Abongo got 214 votes. Ms. Margaret Talata Awini was elected unopposed as the Treasurer.

In the Bongo Constituency, Mr. Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga became the Chairman when he polled 339 votes to beat his opponent Mr. Samuel Adongo Akugru who got 128. The First Vice Chairman went to Mr. Mathew Azoya with 273 votes to beat Mr. Francis Atintono who secured 204 votes.

Mr. John Amoobono secured 309 to become the Second Vice Chairman with his opponent Mr. Issahaku Awebe getting 166 votes.

Mr. Moses Atinga Kobina emerged the Secretary with 240 to beat his opponent Mr. Richard Akama, who got 103 votes. The Assistant Secretary went to Mr. Johnson Anane with 306 whilst his contestant, Mr. Nelson Aningaging secured 169 votes.

Mr. Joseph Akariboga -Dong who emerged as the Organizing Secretary got 218 to beat Mr. Abu Aleme who got 198 votes. Mrs. Justina Bukari got 291 votes to beat her opponent to become the Women's Organizer, whilst her Opponent Mrs. Vida Naapi Atuuro got 127 votes.

Mr. Joseph Akangaba emerged as the Treasurer with 280 votes, whilst her opponent Akuure Joachiru got 72 votes. The Youth Organizer went to Mr. Solomon Azuure with 265 votes to beat Mr. Macthy Ayamdo who got 126 votes.

In the Talensi Constituency, Mr Fred Tindana got 184 votes to become the Constituency Chairman whilst his opponent, Mr Kojo Dengzee Atia got 173 votes. The First Vice Chairman went to Edward Borizina who polled 206 votes to beat Mr Paul Anthony Samariba who got 150 votes.

Mr. Albert Nagbil became the second Vice Chairman with 181 votes whilst Mr. Zakaria Nabsigna got 175 votes. The secretary position went to Mr Zoogah Kolgo Fredrick with 191 votes to beat his contestant Mr. Agiela Paul Akaye who got 164 votes.

The Organising Secretary went to Mr Naab Maxwell who got 214 whilst his contestant Ziba Daniel Sii got 143 votes.

The Assistant Organizing Secretary went to Mr. Nabila James Delebani who got 185 votes, whilst his contestants Mr. Ayoriga Akanamba got 171 votes

Ms Azumah Rebecca became the Women's organizer with 173 votes to beat her opponent Ms Agnes Sakelob who polled 136 votes.

Mr. Daniel Ndanzor emerged as the Youth Organizer with 181 votes to beat his opponent Mr. Jonh Soabil who got 176 votes.

The Position of the treasurer went to Mr. Mathew Abeaba who polled 196 to beat Mr. Cletus Daah Tisohyim who got 160 votes.
